  • RE: Appletell’s Red, White and iBoo giveaway [Gamertell]
I would play the Star Wars theme!
  • RE: Gadgetell Giveaway: Father’s Day prize package [Gadgetell]
My dad and I didn't always get along, but he always supported me and helped me through rough times. I miss him a lot, especially on days like today. Later, I will take him flowers and tell him I still love him.
  • RE: Gadgetell Giveaway: Pantech Matrix Pro [Gamertell]
I had a really great mobile, until I left it in my pocket and it fell out into the laundry hamper (so when I checked my pockets, nothing there, but the phone still got washed). So, I bought a cheap, very basic phone. Currently, I use Alltel, because at the time it was the best deal for a pre-paid phone, and now Alltel is being bought out by Verizon, and I hate their pre-paid program. I would like to switch to AT&T, but I can't justify buying a new phone right now. That's why I'd love to win.
  • RE: Gadgetell Holiday Giveaway: Palm Centro [Gadgetell]
I have a very basic phone with Alltel right now. I just checked out the specs at Palm and the pricing at AT&T, and if I win, I'll open myself a new account and give my old phone to my mom for emergencies. She doesn't have a cell phone. So, this would be a win/win for my family!
  • RE: U.S. Army fears terrorists will use twitter to plan attacks [Gadgetell]
Terrorist could just as easily use text messaging using their mobile phones. I'm trying to use Twitter a little more and learn about it in case because I'm a marketing professional, but I think the whole concept is weird.
  • RE: Circuit City files for Chapter 11, bankruptcy protection [Gadgetell]
I remember when Circuit City became the first to institute the re-stocking fee. I thought their days were numbered then. I also remember the many times I went in and couldn't find any sales associates willing to stop chatting amongst themselves and actually help me find anything. It's not really surprising to me that they're having troubles.
  • RE: "Cyber Monday is a sham" - Gadgetell Interview: BFads.net [Gadgetell]
I thought the media came up with "Cyber Monday." A few years ago, online retailers reported huge sales on the Monday after Black Friday. Maybe people didn't find the deals they wanted, or the quantities were so limited, they missed them. So, they went back to work on Monday and placed an order. I agree with Michael that online retailers are jumping on the Black Friday bandwagon now, in hopes people will just stay home and shop while they're watching the game instead of braving long lines, crowds, and deadly riots in the big box stores.
