Nokia’s E71 rumored to be available in white

by Robert Nelson on Jun 14, 2008 at 07:08 AM

Nokia E71 in White

In addition to the standard black coloring that we have been seeing, some newly surfaced images of the Nokia E71 are showing the device in white. The back of the handset along the top and bottom are white along with the keypad on the front. Overall its not an really bright or overbearing white, more subtle.

As we already know, the E71, at just 10mm thick will mark the “slimmest” business device in the Nokia lineup. It is expected to feature such goodies as built-in GPS, Wi-Fi and even a 3.2-megapixel camera.

While an official announcement has not yet come, it is expected to be officially announced next week during the Nokia Connection in Singapore. Keep reading to check out another pic of the E71 in white…

Asus Eee PC 901 in black

With little surprise, some recent images of the Asus Eee PC 901 has shown its face in black. As best we can tell the newly surfaced black model will follow the pattern of the current Eee PC 701, where the specs are the same, just a different coloring on the outer shell. Unfortunately its looking like the Eee PC 901 will not include the originally rumored WiMAX, however its still expected to retail for $649.99.

Keep reading for a few more images of the Eee PC 901 in black, along with a close up of the newly designed trackpad.

by Robert Nelson on May 8, 2008 at 10:39 PM

MSI Wind in Black

With an official release date yet to be announced more and more details of the MSI Wind have been leaking out. The latest information puts the Wind even further into the Eee PC group as we have just learned that it will not only be available in white, but MSI has plans for a black and pink model as well.

Each of the three colors will be available in both the 8.9-inch and 10-inch displayed models. In addition to the newly discovered colors, TCMagazine is also reporting that there will be a model that will offer up to 7-hours of battery life, now that is high-capacity, lets just hope it does not add a ton of extra weight to go along with the power. Other newly released details include the webcam being 1.3-megapixels and the notebook will also have an second (empty) RAM slot available for easier upgrading. The Wind, which is still expected to be available later this quarter is expected to range in price from 299 to 699 Euros (about $460 to $1,077 US).

The rumors continue, even more 3G iPhone images surface, now in white

by Robert Nelson on May 7, 2008 at 10:25 PM

Rumored 3G iPhone in White

LIke we have mentioned before, the 3G iPhone is one of those rumors that is only going to go away when the phone is actually announced, until then we are going to see more and more speculation.

We have seen a few rumored images hit the web up till now, but these latest images are a first where the phone is no longer in black. As usual there is no way to confirm of deny these images, they are coming courtesy of a Chinese language discussion forum called WeiPhone.com. While my instinct tells me that these are not the 3G iPhone, it does bring up a good question as to why Apple has not released the iPhone in more than one color similar to the iPod line?

White Nokia N78 spotted in Spain

by Arnold Zafra on May 4, 2008 at 05:53 PM

Nokia N78 White

Those who have been using the Nokia 78 handset and are wishing to have a white version would be surprised to find out that there is actually a white N78 available in the market. Sadly, it is only available for sale in Spain. Our friends from Spain must be the special ones, as Nokia has only currently released it for them.

However, aside from the color we cannot envy our Spanish friends much because the newly colored white Nokia N78 doesn’t offer any new features from its black counterpart, which is available in other parts of the world. The N78 white features the same 3.2-megapixel camera, Wi-Fi, GPS, 3.5mm headphone jack and runs on the S60 mobile OS like the black N78.

AT&T’s black Palm Centro spotted in-the-wild

by Robert Nelson on Mar 28, 2008 at 08:55 PM

AT&T Black Palm Centro In-The-Wild

Just as soon as everyone begins to wonder where the previously announced black AT&T Centro is, we have what appears to be the first in-the-wild sighting.

At least one customer, Brian was able to walk into his local AT&T Store in Salt Lake City, Utah and was able to make a quick and easy exchange with his current white model and walked out with black Centro in hand. So AT&T users and Centro fans who were holding out for the black model may want to head on over or give a call to your local store, you may just get lucky. It could be that AT&T and Palm, having already announced the model, opted for a quite introduction into stores.

AT&T Palm Centro in the wild

by Robert Nelson on Feb 16, 2008 at 08:15 AM

AT&T branded white Palm Centro

The AT&T branded Centro has not officially been announced yet, but that is not stopping at least one AT&T retail store from selling the phone anyway. A lucky user over on the Treo Central Forums was able to make the purchase at a Denver retail store. What else is there to do after you purchase an unreleased and unannounced phone, unbox it and post the pictures. We can only assume that the official release will come Tuesday February 19, unless you are also lucky enough to get yours early. As you can also see from the above image, the Centro appears to be running the phone app from the Treo 680. Looking good.
