Westinghouse announces new LCD computer monitors

Straying away from the TV screens that were recently announced, Westinghouse has gone to the computer monitor department and has created some pretty nice monitors. They are set to come in sizes from 16-inches, 19-inches, 22-inches, and 26-inches. Westinghouse claims that these monitors are perfect for your home, office, or even dorm, they are very stylish and could work anywhere. Westinghouse doesn’t give these monitors a name, so I will just call it the “L series” as they all start with L for their name.

There are six models total in the L series. Let’s begin with the L1610NW (Consumer) and L1614NW (Commercial) which are both 16-inch LCD Monitors. They will be available in March 2008 with an estimated retail price of $169.

Westinghouse ready to unveil their portable LCD HDTV screens

Westinghouse is sure to have a lot of visitors at their booth at CES with all the new products they are unveiling. They have announced their PT series which features 16 and 19-inch screens which are designed for people on the go but still want HD quality. It is also perfect for any small rooms and they come with a special hinge that allows you to move the screen up and down as well as back and forth. Basically, the PT series features 4 different models - two 16 inches, and two 19 inches.

Beginning with the PT-16H120S which is a 16”-inch portable LCD HDTV. It will be available in March 2008 with an estimated retail of $279.

Westinghouse ready to release even more TV’s, SK series

Westinghouse sure has been busy this past year preparing for the CES. They have been hard at working designing many exciting and innovating TV’s. This SK series is no exception. To begin with, they all have 720p resolution, and are set to vary from 26 inches, 32 inches, and 40 inches. These TV’s are perfect for any room of your house. They all come with key features such as SpineDesign intelligent cable access, DayBright panel technology for excellent daytime or nighttime viewing, and Autosource technology. One more cool thing about these TV’s is that they all come with an integrated Front Load DVD player.

Time to get down to business, there are 7 models in the SK series. Let’s begin with the SK-26H730S and SK-26H540S – 26-inch LCD HDTV. Both are expected to be available in April 2008 with an estimated retail of $599.

Westinghouse ready to rock CES, begins by announcing new HDTV’s

Westinghouse is coming out with two lines of 1080p HDTV’s called the VK and TX series. Westinghouse touts that the HDTV’s in those series are for the people that want the ultimate home theater experience, and the TV’s will range from 40-52-inches. In addition, Westinghouse says that these series will provide “razor sharp” pictures with their full color spectrum and high color picture. They are also supposed to be very user-friendly, as it comes with a menu that allows you to make changes to whatever you prefer. Some additional cool features about these models is that it comes with SpineDesign intelligent cable access, DayBright panel technology for excellent daytime or night-time viewing and Autosource technology.
