Shoot first, just like Han Solo
Master Replicas, makers of high quality and kinda pricey collectibles, is now offering two ComiCon exclusives to registered members of their Collector’s Society: the Darth Maul Double-Bladed Force FX Lightsaber Signature Edition (signed by Darth Maul actor Ray Park), and the Han Solo Chrome Edition Blaster. The Lightsaber is limited to 500 pieces ($300) and 3,000 for the Blaster ($45). Membership in the MR Collector’s Society is $59.95 per year. Microsoft announces first wave of “Games for Windows”
Microsoft’s “Games for Windows” (GFW) which brands games for, well, Windows, will launch with LEGO Star Wars II: The Original Trilogy (LucasArts) and Company of Heroes (THQ). All GFW releases will be packaged in DVD cases and have the new nifty logo on the box. Microsoft claims the games under the label will be easier to install (*chuckle*), support widescreen formatting, compatible with the Xbox 360 controller for Windows, and launchable within Windows Media Center. Thanks for clearing up which games work on Windows. Now when you think you’re grabbing the “LEGO Star Wars” game off the shelf, you might actually be grabbing the “Leggy Star Whores” DVD. Do you see how confused we are now?
