My Documents laptop sleeve gives you true geek cred

by Robert Nelson on May 18, 2008 at 01:57 PM

My Document Laptop Sleeve

With laptops becoming more and more popular, its not surprising that there are numerous designs for cases, while most appear to have function in mind, this latest, while it is functional seems to be a lot more stylish. Its easy to say that this is quite possibly the geekiest laptop sleeve that I have seen to date—the case is yellow with a black border and in the shape of a Windows folder which is proudly labeled “My Document.”

For someone to use this, you would have to be really comfortable with your level of geekiness, because you are sure to stand out wherever you go. The case is made from vinyl and is available (currently) only at the International Contemporary Furniture Fair in New York City, no word on just how much it will set you back.

Built NY cargo style laptop sleeve holds more than just your laptop

Built NY Laptop Sleeve

Laptop sleeves are becoming more and more popular these days. Not only do they allow a laptop to be carried safely in a bag that doesn’t scream “I have an expensive computer in here!”, they also help users avoid carrying backbreaking amounts of junk. The new Cargo Laptop Sleeve from Built NY is perfect for those who just want to carry the bare minimum. It’s made out of tough, protective neoprene and aside from holding a laptop it offers three pockets that can hold a portable hard drive, a mouse, an iPod, or whatever you can find that will fit. It’s also got special zig zag stitching that gives it extra water resistance. It comes in three sizes: Large (fits laptops up to 17-inch), Medium (fits laptops up to 15.4-inch) and Small (fits laptops up to 13-inch). Prices range from $40-$50.
