USRobotics announces two new Skype USB handsets
Nowadays you can walk into a Best Buy / Circuit City and choose from quite a large selection of Skype certified phones. Now USRobotics has announced two new phones to add to your confusion. The USR9602, known as the USB Mini Internet Phone (very creative), and the USR9601A, known as the USB Internet Phone (even more creative), both plugin to your computer via USB 1.1 or 2.0 and allow you to access all of Skype’s features. You can use SkypeIn, SkypeOut, as well as Skype Caller ID all from the phone. The only down side is that it’s not wireless, but luckily you can pick up a wireless USB transmitter if you search around the web. The USR9601A has been given a price of $49.99 while the Mini one hasn’t. Neither have release dates yet but expect them to hit the market soon.
