Has the FCC leaked the T-Mobile Shadow II?

While the FCC images usually keep most of the details tight and secure, this latest bit of information seems to be holding a little more than usual. We have here what we can only guess is the successor to the Shadow, which is officially known as the HTC CONV100 and will hit the market as the Shadow II.
While the details are light, it looks like the Shadow II will offer up a nice set of improvements and include an 1100mAh battery, as well as Windows Mobile 6.1 out of the box. In addition, it is also expected to include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and come in either silver or black. As you would expect with the FCC information, pricing and availability timeframe still remains as much as mystery as it was before.

T-Mobile Shadow II; Possible leaked images?

With little details still yet know, an image has surfaced showing off what is looking to be T-Mobile’s Shadow II. Other than the sleek looking phone itself, which seems to be a nice improvement over the original Shadow, the image can tell us that it will offer support for MyFaves, but that is becoming fairly standard on T-Mobile’s lineup. Otherwise it is also expected that the Shadow II will retain the Wi-Fi and in turn offer support for the HotSpot@Home service. Otherwise little is know, hopefully details will begin to trickle in.

T-Mobile pushes update with new features for the Shadow

T-Mobile has a new update available for their Shadow. This update comes as a nice surprise as it adds some new features and enhancements instead of just being a security update. New items will include:
- Support for audio postcards.
- Free music and album wallpaper from the Dave Matthews Band and Avril Lavigne.
- Free Ringtones from movies to include Top Gun, Ferris Bueller’s Day Off and School Of Rock.
- Free wallpaper selection made just for the Shadow’s display.
- Enhanced myFaves and menu graphics.
- Improved text entry experience.
While the free music and wallpaper selection may not be for everyones individual tastes, the myFaves and text entry improvements should make it a worthwhile download.
