by Robert Nelson on Nov 9, 2009 at 11:05 AM

Windows 7 saw a pretty good amount of coverage coming from the tech blogs, after all I would say that a fair amount of tech bloggers were using it on a regular, if not daily basis since the public beta was released back in January of 2009. That said, I… Continue Reading »

by Robert Nelson on Jun 9, 2009 at 06:13 AM

It seems that at least the executives from Sprint Nextel have deemed the Palm Pre a success.  According to some estimates, the Palm Pre sold anywhere between 50,000 and 100,000 units in the first two days.  Of course, these numbers are just estimates, and to break that down a little… Continue Reading »

Best Buy reports solid fourth quarter earnings

by Heather Wood on Mar 27, 2009 at 08:14 AM

Although Best Buy is not surpassing sales from last year, their fourth quarter still beat expectations and proved that the electronics giant isn’t going anywhere anytime soon.  The quarter ended stronger than it started and most likely benefited from the liquidation of its major competitor, Circuit City. Their quarter ended… Continue Reading »

Why we don’t get our gadget info from Oprah

by JG Mason on Oct 27, 2008 at 09:04 AM

I get confused when I can’t tell an endorsement from a paid endorsement.  One minute there is a report that talk show host Oprah Winfrey has declared Amazon’s Kindle her “favorite new thing” and the next is a big advertisement with Ms. Winfrey on Amazon.  A quick search on the… Continue Reading »

by Robert Nelson on Oct 24, 2008 at 09:10 AM

MSI is expected to reach sales of somewhere between 600,000 and 700,000 units for their Wind netbook.  Although it sounds like a big difference from the 4 million that Asus has sold, MSI is coming in well above their initial goal of 500,000. The higher than expected sales are due… Continue Reading »

by Christian Milsom on Jun 12, 2008 at 10:24 PM

Asus may be a little optimistic, or maybe just cocky, but they believe that they can make a 1430% increase in sales this year over last year with their Eee PC. Yes, they are predicting that they can make 5 million sales this year, and although it is unclear as… Continue Reading »

Recent numbers are showing that Palm has raised its smartphone market share, topping out at 13.4% for Q1, which is up from 7.9% during the last quarter. While Palm has seen a nice increase from the previous quarter, sadly they are still down 23% from the same time period from… Continue Reading »
