Palm adds push email functionality to Palm OS
Windows Mobile phones and Blackberrys have been getting Exchange email pushed to them for a while now. Today, Palm announced an update for their 680 and 700p smartphones that will add automatic synchronization of email, contacts, and calendar with any Exchange Server. Finally, you will no longer have to keep sending/receiving in order to stay up to date. Welcome to the smartphone business Palm!

Palm announces BlackBerry Connect for Treo 650
The Treo 650 dates all the way back to November of 2004, and Palm clearly isn’t ready to put it to sleep...yet. In fact, they just announced that they’ll be offering the popular push email solution BlackBerry Connect for the Cingular version. If you’re not familiar with BlackBerry Connect, it essentially turns your non-BB smartphone into a BB-like device. Here’s a bit more from the product page:
