Kenko’s digital photo frame makes remote even harder to find

by David Gonzales on May 6, 2008 at 10:49 PM

Kenko Digital Frame

Kenko’s new digital photo frame might seem like your regular digital photo frame at first, but the KDF-07 holds a secret that could change the way you look at gadgets of its kind...forever. Or not, but still the Kenko KDF-07 offers a cool little trick hidden (quite literally) up its sleeve. Actually, it holds a control pad on a secret panel that can be found behind its silver frame, black matte, and wood grain finishes. It will instantly blow up your photos to 7-inches wide and play them in a slideshow - with your permission, of course. I’d like to say that its current price, $160, is a bit too much, but then I remember, $500 digital photo frames. At which point I’ll say, “Yikes! Kenko’s KDF-07 is actually a bargain!”

Sony Ericsson Z780 leaked image

Just recently we were able to give you some details about Sony Ericsson’s upcoming Z780 handset and now there has been some new and thankfully better images leaked. As we previously mentioned the Z780 is very similar to the current Z770 and these images just further prove that. Overall it looks like the Z780 will be the successor and retain much of the Z770’s features in a new and somewhat more stylish outer shell. Keep reading for another image with both models side by side…

Sony Ericsson Z780 info leaked

by David Gonzales on Apr 14, 2008 at 08:01 PM

Sony Ericsson Z780

According to Sony Ericsson Blog, a clamshell type Sony Ericsson Z780 is currently in the works, to feature a similar build and feel to the Z770i. The specs of this handset are not yet clear right now but the screen is purportedly going to be a QVGA (240×320 pixels), it will have a built-in browser called NetFront 3.4, and will be available in two colors: Amethyst Silver and Grand Onyx. All this and other interesting insider info can be found at the XML profiles from SE’s web site, which is free for anyone to access, just like the one I located for the Motorola ZN5. There is currently no information regarding release dates, if any, but we’ll be sure to keep you update once the info becomes available.

Antenna-less Palm Treo makes it out into the wild

by Doug Berger on Aug 25, 2006 at 02:03 PM

Palm Treo

There have been rumors of an antenna-less Palm Treo for some time now...some call it the Treo Hollywood.  Alleged spy shots of the new device have been leaked to our friends over at SlashGear.  The device looks exactly the same size as the current model Treos (700p, 700w), but have no antenna.  To be honest, I would prefer they spend their time on making it thinner so it has a chance at competing with the Motorola Q’s form-factor.  The antenna is annoying, but they’ve got to do something about its size next.  Click on to SlashGear for the rest of the pics.
