by Mark Rollins on Sep 3, 2008 at 10:46 AM

Logitech Illuminated Keyboard

Logitech has made a lot of cool keyboards in the last few years, and the one we most recently reported on is the wireless Logitech diNovo Edge keyboard.

Logitech has recently announced some new keyboards, and the most prominent is the Illuminated Keyboard, pictured above.  It has, to its credit, broken the record for being the skinniest keyboard at about 9.3 millimeters thick (or in this case, thin).

Of course, being anorexic is not the only thing the Illuminated Keyboard has going for it.  It has an adjustable backlight, a soft-touch palm rest and dedicated multi-media keys for one-touch action.

The V550 Nano laser mouse features a Plug-and-Forget receiver which stays in a USB port and sits nearly flush against the side of your laptop. It doesn’t obtrude nor is it a hindrance when you stow your laptop. Logitech offers the Bluetooth enabled Pure-Fi mobile speakers

by Arnold Zafra on May 20, 2008 at 10:24 PM

Logitech Pure-Fi mobile speaker system

With the growing popularity of mobile phones as music devices, it is but logical that mobile phone accessory manufactures would think of coming out with speakers that could deliver high-quality sound from mobile phones to external speakers. Logitech is one of these manufacturers with its new speaker system that works with mobile phones. To make it even more interesting, Logitech made its mobile speaker system, called the Pure-Fi, work wirelessly.

The Logitech Pure-Fi Mobile speaker system works with mobile phones that are Bluetooth enabled. Using the Advanced Audio Distribution (A2DP) profile, music stored in the users phone can be streamed directly to the Pure-Fi Mobile speaker system, and it will work up to about 32 feet. The Pure-Fi speakers also promise to give articulate bass and smooth treble sounds with its 2-inch high-excursion drivers and dual 2-inch pressure drivers.

In addition to being a high quality mobile speakers, the Pure-Fi can also be used as a wireless speakerphone, thanks to its two built-in mics which pick up vocal nuances and monitor and block unwanted background noise. Users can also call-answer and call-end easily with the use of controls located on the top of the speakers.

The Logitech Pure-Fi speaker system comes with a protective case which also fits charging cables. For music on PCs, iPod and other MP3 player, Pure-Fi can either be paired to an audio source via Bluetooth or through a built-in 3.5mm audio jack.

And now for the pricing, the Logitech Pure-Fi Mobile speaker system retails for $149.99 and will hit US and European stores sometime in June.

Logitech releases the diNovo Mini, a remote control dressed up as a wireless keyboard?

by Arnold Zafra on Mar 16, 2008 at 09:39 AM

Logitech diNovo Mini

Frankly I don’t get the idea behind Logitech’s diNovo Mini. If you have a TV and you want to easily control it, you’d normally use a remote control right? If you have a laptop or a desktop and you want to work on it, you’d not sit too far from it right? Then what’s the use of a wireless keyboard that you can connect to your PC and TV?

Well yeah, the diNovo Mini looks sleek, good and your friends would definitely say “wow, what a good looking small gadget you have there!” Other than that, the Logitech does some pretty standard functions that may either impress you or make you ignore it. The diNovo gives you convenience and style of a palm-size mini-keyboard with backlighting technology that makes text entry effortless even if you are in a low-light environment. This mini wireless keyboard has an integrated dual-purpose click pad that can be used as a touchpad to point and click for easy navigation.

Gadgetell Review: Logitech diNovo Keyboard

by JG Mason on Jan 22, 2008 at 09:49 AM

Logitech diNovo Keyboard

Product: diNovo Keyboard by Logitech
Price: $199.00
Rating: 8.5 out of 10
Pros: iPhone-like sexy, shiny, display-worthy; Bluetooth connectivity
Cons: Lack of a number pad hurts.
Overall: Great looking/good working keyboard sets the bar for designer keyboards.  $199 may sound steep for keyboard lacking a number pad.

Two months ago, I would have told you keyboards really don’t matter that much.  That was before I stared using the diNovo Keyboard from Logitech.  Now, I am firm believer in dropping some serious money for a decent finger tapping inputting device.  The diNovo changed my mind.

Logitech, Last.fm partner to offer free personalized radio

by Robert Nelson on Jan 22, 2008 at 07:21 AM

Logitech and Last.fm

A recent partnership between Logitech and Last.fm will allow users to enjoy free personalized radio. The radio can be listened to using select internet radio receivers from Logitech to include the Squeezebox and Transporter. Users will be able to have an on-the-go experience with Last.fm, taking the PC out of the picture.

Sadly as of now the support is limited to just the Squeezebox and Transporter, however more support is expected to come via a “software update due before the end of the year.” Users will then be able to enjoy their personalized Last.fm radio stations using a wider selection of Logitech’s boxes.
