FCC leaks Nokia 2680 with AT&T branding
You have to love the stream of information coming from the FCC, at times they remind me of that friend who knows a little to much, but does not know when to keep their mouth closed. Well the latest bit of information to come is in the form of the Nokia 2680 slide that was recently pictured with a nice clear AT&T logo.
Overall the Nokia 2680 is not much to get excited about, its a pretty low-end slider-style handset that features a camera, music player and FM radio. However what is interesting about this comes from the original Nokia announcement for the 2680 which announced this as a handset for emerging markets, well it looks like AT&T now has an emerging market. I wonder how they would feel after hearing that.
RIM’s BlackBerry 8210, 8220 KickStart unveiled by Expansys
Without any official announcement from RIM, the upcoming BlackBerry 8210 and 8220 have both been unveiled by online retailer Expansys. Of course, the 8210 and the 8220 are better know as the KickStart, which marks RIM’s first venture into the clamshell market.
Thanks to their online retail appearance we can confirm they will be featuring an internal 2.6-inch display with a 320 x 240 resolution and external 160 x 128 resolution display. Other features include a 2-megapixel camera with flash and video recording capability, Bluetooth 2.0, microSD card slot, a 3.5mm headphone jack and quad-band GSM (850/900/1800/1900MHz) support.
T-Mobile’s upcoming BlackBerry lineup revealed
It looks like nothing but good news for BlackBerry loving T-Mobile users as there are a few new options coming available shortly.
First up we will see an expansion of the current Pearl 8120 lineup. Not the most exciting of additions, but lets get them out of the way before we move on to the real goodies. The Pearl 8120’s features will remain the same, but it will also be available in Tahitian Green, Indigo and Light Blue in addition to the currently available Ruby, Gold and Titanium.
Now that the 8120’s are out of the way, we can also tell you that the Kickstart (or possibly the Pearl 8220) will be available sometime in late September or early October and although the pricing has yet to be officially confirmed, the rumored $49.99 is still holding.
Asus Eee PC 900a gets spec’d
We have just recently seen the Eee PC 900a show its face in some leaked images, and although it seemed to be just another model in the never ending Eee PC lineup, we were hoping for something special.
Sadly, the specs have been revealed and honestly we are not really sure why Asus even bothered, its just another Eee. It will feature the 1.6GHz Intel Atom processor but that is about where the excitement stops.
Other features include what seems to be the standard now; an 8.9-inch display with a 1024 x 600 resolution, 1GB of RAM, built-in card reader, 0.3-megapixel webcam, Wi-Fi, Ethernet, VGA out, and three USB ports.
The Eee PC 900a will also be available in a 8GB or 16GB SSD option, but sadly Bluetooth will not be included. The 900a will be available beginning August 21 and retail for 299 EUR (around $465 US).
With all the different models and options now available, it seems that Asus should just make a few standard case sizes and then offer them in a selection of colors and allow the user to configure them as desired.

Leaked images show off the Asus Eee PC 900a
Although we were pleasantly surprised to see Asus returning to their roots with the recent information that surfaced showing off the new additions coming to the Eee PC 701 series, this latest image would normally just be chalked up as yet another model in the never ending Eee lineup.
However, we did notice one interesting bit worth mentioning, the newly pictured model is the Eee PC 900a, and although there has not been any official word, some speculation (and hope) is that the “a” is in place for Atom, as in the processor.
Otherwise, like I mentioned its just one leaked image as of now, but still it shows something to hope for, that is assuming you are not already burnt out on the never ending models of the Eee PC. Seriously Asus, I am a fan of the Eee lineup, I have one myself, but even I cannot keep up anymore with what you have going on. Lets try and bring it back to just being simple, low-cost, easy-to-use notebook like you started with.

Leaked images; Sony Ericsson’s “Feng” W302
It seems like this is now becoming a regular occurrence, with yet another series of leaked images showing off the latest Sony Ericsson handset.
This time it’s the W302, which is also going by the code name of “Feng” and unlike the previously leaked 5-megapixel W902, the W302 offers more of a standard set of features, possibly being targeted for the low to mid-range market.
The details that we currently know are that the W302 will be a candybar style handset that will offer a 176 x 220 pixel display, 2-megapixel camera with auto-focus, and it will be a Walkman phone that is running SE’s A2 software. Pricing and a release date still remain a mystery, but in the meantime enjoy the pics.
Leaked training documents for Sprint’s Treo 800w
Yet another leak surrounding the upcoming Treo 800w for Sprint. This time thankfully its not some more blurry camera phone style images, but instead something much more useful, what appears to be the official training documents from Sprint.
And yes, they reveal a few goodies. Aside from the nice images of the phone itself, detailing where everything will be located, such as the large speakerphone on the back, and the Wi-Fi on/off button that is located on the top, there is also the microUSB connector centered on the bottom of the handset.
The Treo 800w will also feature a 320 x 320 touchscreen LCD, will be powered by a 333Mhz processor and is running Windows Mobile 6.1. The Treo will measure in at 4.4.1 x 2.28 x 0.73-inches and weigh 4.94-ounces.
The interesting part comes within the notes section, the first point makes it clear with the simple statement of “MMS is not supported” which is just annoying, of course Sprint does have their own Picture Mail, but what is with the no MMS support. Keep reading to check out the documents below…
Sprint’s Treo 800w gets pictured again
Similar to the BlackBerry Kickstart, the upcoming Palm Treo 800w is becoming a popular handset for early live images.
The latest to show up carries on the tradition of being blurry and well that is really all we can say about it. Based on the image, it looks like it is an early tester unit, which is based on the serial number towards the top right corner that has been blurred out. We also suspect that this will not be the color of the final release.
Real? Maybe, maybe not. I guess we will know for sure if the Treo 800w is released on July 13 as expected.

Live image of the Helio Ocean 2
A screenshot from a no longer available YouTube video is all that we have left, but its a pretty decent image, as far as leaked images are concerned. Sadly there were few details mentioned and what we can go by is really nothing more than this one screenshot.
Keep in mind, that this is a follow up to the original Ocean, and we cannot really expect a dramatic overall change. However this one does appear to have a cool style as the Helio logo up towards the top seems to be backlit. Otherwise it has what appears to be a touch sensitive D-pad.
Of course with the recent trouble that Helio has been seeing, you have to wonder whether the Ocean 2 will really see the light of day.

Leaked live images Palm Treo 800w
Some more images of the upcoming Palm Treo 800w have been making their way around the Internet, the latest however are pretty clear, well clear compared to some previous leaked images anyway, and show off both the front and back side.
The Sprint-branded Treo 800w, as if the “w” was not indication enough is clearly pictured running non other than Windows Mobile as the OS. Overall a slightly better looking Treo than previous models, but it seems that there is nothing much to get overly excited about.
Keep reading to check out the second image…
