Meet Your Next Keyboard

If the new Optimus Maximus keyboard isn’t your next keyboard the technology that it utilizes may well be as it uses large touch sensitive keys a la Star Trek, and incorporates a key switching technology plus the ability to “play movies and to turn into a gigantic color swatch.“
Still only at the concept stage it isn’t guaranteed to go into production, but as it looks so cool and practical it is hard to believe that it wont at some stage, or that other manufacturers wont pick up on this design. It is a little strange that to date most attempts to move away from the traditional keyboard have failed, but as someone that spends a lot of time each day banging the keys something like this looks very interesting.
