Unreleased, but standard BlackBerry Javelin fetches $17,100 on eBay

Let’s hope that eBay user jdavidson31 from Ontario Canada has plenty of cash lying around because as of yesterday evening he is the proud owner of a still unreleased BlackBerry Javelin. Of course, I use the word “proud” with a little sarcasm, because he can also be considered crazy because he
bid a whopping $17,100 for that privilege.
Aside from the fact that I would have a hard time paying even $1,000 for a cell phone, I would say that $17,100 cell phone better come fully loaded with a 24/7 support staff and more. The sad part is that he certainly did not get that, in fact he did not even get free shipping. Of course, if you are willing to pay that much for a BlackBerry I guess a few extra bucks for shipping will not be missed.
T-Mobile’s upcoming BlackBerry lineup revealed
It looks like nothing but good news for BlackBerry loving T-Mobile users as there are a few new options coming available shortly.
First up we will see an expansion of the current Pearl 8120 lineup. Not the most exciting of additions, but lets get them out of the way before we move on to the real goodies. The Pearl 8120’s features will remain the same, but it will also be available in Tahitian Green, Indigo and Light Blue in addition to the currently available Ruby, Gold and Titanium.
Now that the 8120’s are out of the way, we can also tell you that the Kickstart (or possibly the Pearl 8220) will be available sometime in late September or early October and although the pricing has yet to be officially confirmed, the rumored $49.99 is still holding.
BlackBerry Javelin, more details confirmed

We first began to see details of the upcoming BlackBerry Javelin coming out about a month ago, but since then most of the BlackBerry related coverage has focused heavily on either the Bold or Kickstart.
However, after seeing the latest information that has come available, it seems that the Javelin is going to be a welcomed edition to RIM’s current lineup. The new details are calling for the Javelin to feature a 480 x 360 high-res HVGA+ display, 512MHz processor, 256MB onboard flash memory, microSD card slot, 3.2-megapixel camera with auto-focus and a microUSB port for both charging and syncing.
The one big drawback that we can see with the Javelin is the lack of 3G coverage, but it does have both Wi-Fi and GPS which should take some of the sting away. Keep reading to check out a few more of the detail slides with images of the Javelin…
BlackBerry Javelin gets pictured, detailed

Some recently leaked live images of the upcoming BlackBerry Javelin have just surfaced online. Three images to be exact and they offer a nice look at the front, back and inside of the back battery cover.
Not much has come to light about a release date as of yet, but we can tell you that the Javelin will feature a 480 x 360 display, 3.2-megapixel camera, Wi-Fi, GPS, quad-band GSM/EDGE support and of course the full QWERTY keyboard. The Javelin will be running OS 4.6 and powered by the ArgonV processor.
In the meantime, keep reading to check out the remaining two images…
Upcoming BlackBerry lineup for Rogers Wireless

A recently surfaced BlackBerry roadmap has just shown its face for Rogers. While this has not been officially confirmed yet, the projected dates are however believable and seem to fit in well with the prior rumors.
First up, it looks like Rogers is on track to offer their customers the BlackBerry Bold before AT&T here in the US. However it looks like the earlier projected date of July 25 is only partially true. It looks that the phone will be available to dealers on that date, with it hitting the regular retail market just a few days later on July 29.
The next two, both of which should be exciting is the newly announced flip-styled KickStart, which is expected to be available in September, however no specific date has been announced, or even rumored aside from mid-to-late September. And finally the Javelin is expected sometime during late November or early December, in other words it will be there in time for the holidays.
