Gadgetell Review: Jabra Sp700 - stop looking like a jerk

Product: Jabra SP700.
Price and Availability: $99 out now
Pros: Doesn’t make you look like a tool. Easily answer calls in your car. Makes not upgrading to the expensive new cars “tech package” a lot easier to live with. Sound is great, surround sound through speakers is even better.
Cons: no air of superiority that comes with a headset (wait, maybe that should be in the Pros?)
Overall: I’ve already ordered two for my cars. I give it 10/10
If you are like me, you’ll go to almost any length no to wear your bluetooth headset. An incoming call when I am in the car sends me fumbling around my front seats for the tiny headset, the awkward install into my ear and then my eyes are back on the road. Surely that is safer than just answer the phone?
Jabra intro’s the BT350 Bluetooth headset with Noise Blackout technology

Jabra has unveiled their latest Bluetooth headset, the BT530, which is expected to retail for $99.99 and be available beginning this September. The BT530 is a small and lightweight headset coming in at just 0.35-ounces, it also ships with eight size options for the ear gel to allow for a better fit and has an ear hook that is removable.
Aside from the small size and options for fit, the BT530 does also have some nice features, to begin with it offers up to 5.5 hours of talk time with up to 240 hours of standby time. In addition the headset marks Jabra’s first with it’s new Noise Blackout technology, which uses dual microphones in an effort to eliminate “the ‘tinny’ sound that many noise cancellation headsets are plagued with.” The BT530 headset is also able to be paired with multiple devices and has support for A2DP for stereo sound. When available, it will ship in the black with silver as pictured.

Jabra M5390 dual BT headset has “leave me alone” written all over it
Noise-canceling headphones be gone! Who needs inferior products such as those when you can comfortably sit back with two calls simultaneously with the Jabra M5390 dual Bluetooth headset? Talk about trying to tell everyone around you that you are busy, and can’t be disturbed no matter what. This mind-boggling device, in my honest opinion, is so dumb that it’s brilliant!
With the Jabra M5390 dual Bluetooth headset, you can take calls from two different devices, like say a GSM handset and a Skype phone, at the very same time. It offers DSP noise canceling technology itself, although I’m not sure how well that would really work when you’re trying to listen to two different sounds at a time.
Other features include USB 2.0 connectivity via a Bluetooth dongle, and a range of 70 meters. That way, even if you accidentally cut off your ear and dropped it down the elevator, you’d still be able to hear your calls. Or not. And it stays on standby for nearly 60 hours, with talk time billed at 6 hours, give or take. But don’t rush out with your credit card yet, cause there still ain’t no pricing details on this baby. What? Of course it’s for sale, cheapskate.

Jabra announces the BT4010 handsfree Bluetooth with LCD display

Jabra has announced a new Bluetooth headset with feature not commonly found among small devices. The Jabra BT4010 has a small LCD instead of the usual LED display used by other Bluetooth headsets. Touting a small and yet clear LCD display the BT4010 up to boasts of 6 hours talk time. The new LCD feature, modeled from those of mobile phones, makes this headset more user-friendly as you can clearly see how much battery the headset has left, which will be a nice change from the more common blinking LED lights, which seem to never make sense.
Jabra adds the JX20 Pura Titanium; a high-end Bluetooth headset

Jabra has introduced the new JX20 Bluetooth headset, which features a shiny titanium exterior along with a high-gloss black trim. Aside from the fancy new exterior the JX20 was designed by Jacob Jensen and offers Bluetooth 2.0 support with up to 6-hours of talk-time. The headset will auto-pair and comes with extra ear-hooks and ear-bud inserts to offer a better fit.
Sadly the JX20 headset is going to retail for $179, which should effectively put it out of a good price range for many potential users, especially considering the Jawbone, which already gets wonderful reviews can be purchased for only $119.99.
