Acer’s New Ferraris (notebook)

I hope you are not expecting a picture of brand new four-wheeled Ferraris lined up in front of Acer’s headquarter, perhaps for Acer’s top executives. Acer had just announced the North American availability of the new Ferrari 1000 and Ferrari 5000 series. The three-year alliance between Acer and Ferrari has produced the world’s first notebook series offering the exclusive and cutting-edge technology which is the results of Acer’s expertise in the information technology industry and Ferrari’s leadership in Formula One technology.
Powered by the latest AMD Turion Mobile Technology, the sleek notebooks run the latest dual-core technology delivering added performance and intelligent power management features. On top of that, the new 64-bit architecture delivers leading-edge power and considerable performance gains highly anticipated by future 64-bit applications.
The good looking and exclusive notebooks are available now through Acer authorized resellers throughout North America with prices starting at $1999 and $2299, respectively.
It would have been a really terrific bargain if the price is for one of the four-wheeled Ferraris you had wished for. Even if it is not, it still is a good deal for a notebook PC this sexy.
