Apple posts March 6, 2008 event video
For some people (ourselves included) its just not enough to read the details or highlights from yesterdays announcement, we have that need to be able to watch and feel the need to take it all in.
If you fall into that category then Apple has taken care of you, they have just posted the March 6, 2008 event online for everyone to enjoy.

Apple announces Exchange support for the iPhone
As part of the iPhone 2.0 software update, Apple also announced Enterprise support for the iPhone (and iPod Touch) which will come in the form of Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync. The new support will feature push email, push contacts, push calendar and global address list. It will have support for certificates and identities, WPA2/802.1x and enforced security policies with more VPN protocols, device configuration and remote wipe.
Apple announces native iPhone SDK, coming in June
Well, as expected the long awaited SDK for the iPhone has been officially announced and will be available with iPhone software version 2.0. With great disappointment but very little surprise the availability of version 2.0 and the apps will not be available until sometime in June. According to Apple; the software update will be available sometime “by the end of June”. However beginning today “selected developers and enterprise customers” will have access to a beta release, which will hopefully mean that we will be see a good selection of apps available when software version 2.0 first launches.
Apple’s iPhone SDK event today, 10 AM PST / 1 PM EST
We are up, waiting and trying to control our excitement, just what details will we get today about the long awaited iPhone (and iPod Touch) SDK. Today’s event will also be including some news about the ”exciting new enterprise features.”
The event, which is taking place at the Apple HQ in Cupertino begins today at 10PST, which is not until 1PM EST for us, makes it seem like we still have so long to wait.
Our guess, a date will be announced, but we will not be getting anything new to play with just yet. We do hope (in the case only) that we are proven wrong.
Check back here at Gadgetell for the highlights and don’t forget to check our sister site Appletell for the full and in-depth details.
