Rumor: AT&T to launch the BlackBerry Bold October 2
The latest potential launch date for the AT&T BlackBerry Bold is now expected to come in just about a month, on October 2. I wish we were able to say this has been confirmed, but sadly it is just based on a tip that is being considered “pretty solid.” Of course we have seen these situations go either way when it come to reliable sources, so keep your credit card safely in your wallet for now. In the meantime it looks like October 2 is the date for AT&T to announce the Bold, with full availability coming on Monday October 6. All in all, the release seems to make sense timing wise now that Rogers has finally gotten theirs ready and out.

BlackBerry Kickstart for T-Mobile, leaked screenshot images appear
While we are still awaiting an official announcement for the upcoming BlackBerry Kickstart, it seems like the leaked images and screenshots are going to continue coming.
The latest series is a collection of screenshots from the Kickstart, which is running BlackBerry OS 4.6 and one thing is for sure, it looks like T-Mobile. The Kickstart will include BlackBerry Messenger, a new Clock application that has a very cool looking stopwatch and of course will be myFaves compatible.
As of now, the best information available still puts the Kickstart as being available sometime in October and retailing for $49.99. Of course one thing that we know for sure is that it will be exclusive with T-Mobile when launched. In the meantime continue reading to check out some more of the Kickstart screenshot images…
BlackBerry Bold now available for purchase with Rogers
Of course, we already knew that today was the day that they BlackBerry Bold was moved to the available status for Rogers Wireless customers, however we can also give you the rest of the disappointing news that comes along with it.
First up, and perhaps most upsetting is the price. The BlackBerry Bold will retail for $399.99. And in addition that $399 comes along with the standard three-year agreement and requires a data plan totaling more than $45 per month.
Rogers makes the BlackBerry Bold official, available August 21
It was a launch that at times seemed like it was never going to happen, and now that it has officially been confirmed by Rogers, potential customers have just about 24 hours left to wait before they are able to purchase a BlackBerry Bold of their own.
Sadly Rogers has not released any pricing details, I guess they are intent on making everyone wait to the very last minute for everything. However, according to RIM co-CEO Jim Balsillie it will be priced between $300 and $400 and will be aimed at business users, which seems to fit in nicely with the rumored price of $399. Of course, I can imagine most potential customers are hoping it will come in a little less expensive, possibly something a little closer to the pricing of the 16GB iPhone.
Now we just have to wait for AT&T to finally gets things in order and release the Bold for the rest of us here in the US, which hopefully will not be that much longer.

Without any official announcement from RIM, the upcoming BlackBerry 8210 and 8220 have both been unveiled by online retailer Expansys. Of course, the 8210 and the 8220 are better know as the KickStart, which marks RIM’s first venture into the clamshell market.
Thanks to their online retail appearance we can confirm they will be featuring an internal 2.6-inch display with a 320 x 240 resolution and external 160 x 128 resolution display. Other features include a 2-megapixel camera with flash and video recording capability, Bluetooth 2.0, microSD card slot, a 3.5mm headphone jack and quad-band GSM (850/900/1800/1900MHz) support.
More Rogers BlackBerry Bold information; pricing, availability
Some good news has come for Rogers users waiting for the BlackBerry Bold, thanks to a recently surfaced invitation, we now know that the Bold will be officially unveiled on August 21, which should mean that it will be available on that day, if not very soon afterward.
In addition to the release date, we also have some more pricing information for you. We recently saw the promo flyer with the $399 three year agreement pricing, however it has also come to light that the Bold will be available contract free. Of course it is significantly more expensive, but sometimes the lack of contract may be worth the extra money. However, personally at $649.99, I would much rather have the contract.

BlackBerry Bold pricing gets official with Rogers
Rogers official pricing for the BlackBerry Bold has been leaked courtesy of a promo flyer, and it comes as a little bit of good and a little bit of bad.
So, the good news is that this pricing leak combined yesterdays delivery of the super-sized promo Bold just further cements the rumored August 19 launch date.
The bad news, as you would expect is that the handset will not be as inexpensive as we had hoped. I guess we should not be all that surprised with Rogers past history, however it would have been a little nicer had it been priced a little closer to the 16GB iPhone. Instead it will be a bit higher coming in at $399.99 which comes along with the standard three year agreement.

Orange UK announces August 16 BlackBerry Bold launch date
Orange in the UK has followed the recent announcements from T-Mobile in Germany and Movistar in Chili and has become the latest to announce an availability date for the BlackBerry Bold, customers will have to wait just a few more days, with the Bold expected to be in stores on August 16.
Although we are still awaiting the official release details from Orange, it is looking like the Bold will be free as long as customers sign the required 18-month agreement. Not only is the release of the Bold good news for UK customers, but it has also been rumored that the £45 per month calling plan will also include unlimited data.

Super-sized BlackBerry Bold lands at Rogers, August 19 launch looking good
The latest rumored launch date of August 19 for the BlackBerry Bold with Rogers seems like it just may come true. Of course, Rogers has still not officially confirmed this date, but thanks to some pics posted over on HowardForums we can see that at least some locations have begun to receive the official Bold Launch kit.
We have recently seen a few carriers launch the Bold, but sadly North America has been left out until this point. We can only hope that Rogers will be able to follow through on this latest rumored date, and that AT&T will not be much longer afterward.

Verizon goes pink with the BlackBerry Curve 8330, Pearl 8130
Verizon Wireless has just become the latest carrier to add some new pink BlackBerry models. The new additions to the Verizon lineup will be the Curve 8330 and the Pearl 8130. Features of both will be the same as their current silver counterparts and according to Verizon “the hip, pink colors give students added flair when they are at school or interviewing for an internship or job,” of course we would most likely suggest leaving your BlackBerry at home or in the car while interviewing, regardless of the color.
Anyway the pink Curve 8330 and the pink Pearl 8130 are currently available for order online, and will be in retail stores beginning August 15. The Curve 8330 will retail for $99.99 and the Pearl 8130 will be $79.99. Pricing for both models comes after a $70 mail-in-rebate and along with the standard two-year agreement.
