Asus Eee PC 900 now available
In news that comes as little surprise, Asus has officially offered up the Eee PC 900. While we already knew the date, it is still nice to see that it came as scheduled, which means that anyone who was brave enough to pre-order will not have to wait any extra time.
The Eee PC 900 seems to be holding true to the expected $549 price tag, with availability just about everywhere we saw the pre-orders popping up. The Eee PC 900, so far seems to be available and in-stock at Amazon, Buy.com, ZipZoomfly, J&R and ExcaliberPC. The one exception seems to be at Buy.com where the retail seems to be just a little higher than the rest at $559.

Verizon’s BlackBerry Curve 8330 now available
The release had been confirmed for May 9, however Verizon must have been feeling a little generous since they have added the BlackBerry Curve 8330 a few days ahead of schedule.
The Curve is retailing for $219.99, which comes after a $100 online discount, along with a two-year agreement. The Curve was also scheduled to arrive on retail locations as of May 12, no confirmation yet on if Verizon released it in stores early also. Now lets just hope Sprint will finally launch their Curve.

The first to be found is coming courtesy of ExcaliberPC and the notebook is listed for $549 with an estimated availability of “Mid of May 2008,” which is just in line with the already confirmed launch date from Asus. Verizon’s BlackBerry Curve to be available beginning May 9
The BlackBerry Curve will be available from Verizon as of May 9. We saw the official announcement come from Verizon back in late-March, but at the time it was just left as “coming in May.” Well those few waiting Verizon customers can now let out a sigh of relief as its finally been given a date.
The Curve will be available online only beginning on May 9 and hit the retail stores just a few days later on May 12. A two-year agreement along with $270 (after a $50 mail-in-rebate) will put one in your hand, or $439.99 with no agreement.

Get it while you can, the Amazon Kindle is back in stock
Amazon now has the Kindle back in stock. After the initial launch this past November the popular reader sold out after just about 5 hours and has remained near impossible to find ever since, that is aside from a few overpriced eBay auctions.
So, anyone who has been eyeing the Kindle and awaiting its return, you better not wait much longer, they are currently available and remain at the original retail price of $399.

HP quietly pushing up the shipping dates for the Mini-Note 2133
It seems that with each passing day the estimated shipping dates for the recently announced HP Mini-Note 2133 seem to be increasing. What began as an estimated shipping date of April 15 has quickly moved up to April 20. As Liliputing noted yesterday the estimated date was April 19, a quick check this morning showed it as of April 20, it seems the date is moving up by one every day. If you were looking or considering placing an order, you may not want to wait to long.
Although having the estimated shipping date seem to increase at such a rapid rate, we have to think that this is just based on popularity of the item and the amount being sold and not an actual product delay. I had placed an order fairly early after the announcement and have yet to receive any notification about a delay in shipping, hopefully the already placed orders will ship as originally expected.

HP 2133 Mini-Note now available for pre-order
The recently announced and highly praised HP Mini-Note UMPC is now available for pre-order. With pricing beginning on the low-end at $499 for a 1.0 GHz VIA C7-M ULV processor, 512MB of RAM, 4GB SSD, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g and running Suse Linux Enterprise Desktop 10 and topping out at $849 for a 1.2 GHz VIA C7-M ULV processor, 1GB of RAM, 160GB 5,400 rpm hard drive, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g, Bluetooth and running Windows Vista Home Basic.
Personally I would think the less expensive model that features a 1.6 GHz VIA C7-M ULV processor, 2GB of RAM, 120GB 7,200 rpm hard drive, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g, Bluetooth with Windows Vista Business for $749 seems to be the better value. Either way, pre-order away.
[Update] New product page link with slightly different pricing, although the original link that I had below still works.

Nokia officially announces the WiMAX Edition N810
Nokia has let the WiMAX Edition N810 out of the bag, of course this comes as not much of a surprise, the rumors have been on-going, not to mention the in-the-wild style photo earlier this morning. It is nice however to get all the official details.
Aside from the addition of WiMAX the overall specs remain the same as the standard N810 which features a 4.13-inch touchscreen display, slide-out QWERTY keyboard, built-in GPS, built-in webcam, 2 GB of internal memory, microSD card slot for additional storage and a web browser that is powered by Mozilla. The WiMAX Edition N810 will be available to US customers beginning this summer and retail for $449.

Asus Eee PC with Windows XP coming to Best Buy in April
The long rumored Windows XP-based Eee PC will soon be hitting the market here in the US. With all the recent commotion about the Eee PC 900, the XP rumors had seemed to die down just a bit. The updated Eee PC will keep the same specs as the current Linux-based model, except for the OS, which will be Windows XP Home.
Perhaps the best news; the Eee PC will keep the same $399 price tag and we will not have too long to grab one for yourself, they will be available at Best Buy locations beginning April 9, 2008.
According to the folks over at Laptop, Asus is planning on also bundling a 4GB SD card in with the notebook to offer some additional storage space. With the small internal 4GB SSD, after Windows XP is installed and with just a few other programs they were left with just 153MB of free space.
