Ality, a developer of innovative digital home products, and its new Wireless PIXXA digital photo frame is the latest of its ilk to make news. It features Wi-Fi connectivity, a rechargeable battery, instant messaging, automatic news flash and weather reports, not to mention multiple user accounts, which allow each family member to personalize their own display preferences. This enhanced digital photo frame is the first of its kind to enable friends and families to send favorite photos directly to the digital display via an instant messenger application.
This new digital photo fame has a sleek, minimalist design and offers expanded features. The Live Calendar permits the user to synchronize schedules with online calendar websites without the need for a computer and photos can be attached to special dates. Even greeting cards and invitations can be sent digitally. The Live News feature allows for customization of wireless feeds to be directly sent to the PIXXA digital photo frame for news, sports, weather, traffic, entertainment, horoscopes and stock quote updates.
Ality’s Wireless PIXXA digital photo frame will be featured at Pepcom’s Digital Experience media showcase at Caesar’s Palace on Sunday, January 6, 2008, and the 2008 International Consumer Electronics Show at the Sands Expo and Convention Center (booth #73851) January 7-10, 2008. It is expected to go on sale in the first half of the next year for around $299.
