When you normally delete your files, your little trash can icon fills up. If you accidentally move something to the trash, you can still recover it, but what if you empty your trash?
Enter the TEMPO.
From the Franco Cagnina design team, in partnership with Intech, the TEMPO external hard drive is shaped to mimic a regular trash can. Though it is only a conceptual design right now, this baby’s features are pretty cool. As soon as you delete an item, the TEMPO immediately makes a backup copy of it,
and stores it on its built in 250GB hard drive.
There are no wires, however, since the device interfaces to your Mac or PC via Bluetooth. Another neat hallmark is the LEDs on the outside of the bin, that “fill up” as you add more and more data to the drive. Now that’s how technology should be; easy to use and nice to look at.
Here’s hoping the TEMPO makes its way to stores. Read [Cagnina Design]
