T-Mobile has just officially announced the 3G-capable Sony Ericsson TM506. Overall its a nice looking handset with a slim compact design, however it has one important item to point out, this is T-Mobile’s first HSDPA handset.
The Sony Ericsson TM506 has a clamshell design and features built-in GPS with TeleNav support, a Memory Stick Micro (M2) card slot, a 2-megapixel camera and stereo Bluetooth. In addition the handset also features both an internal display along with an external display that shows the time as well as caller ID.
T-Mobile customers will have to wait just a little longer to grab one of their own however, according to the press release it will be available in early-September at “select T-Mobile retail stores and online.“ Still unknown is just how much the TM506 will set you back.
