The idea of mixing music with mobile phones isn’t new, but it still is a relatively untapped opportunity for most mobile phone makers and network carriers. The latest announcement from Vodafone and Verizon, meanwhile, has us and most other Madonna and Justin Timberlake fans looking forward to April 28. Why? Because they are now offering an underground remix version of Madonna’s upcoming single 4 Minutes from the album Hard Candy. And with an offer like this, it’s hard to say this would be a hard sell.
Other than a copy of the remixed version of 4 Minutes, users who download from Verizon Wireless’ V CAST Music service will also get the chance to win a barcoded ticket to the exclusive Madonna performance at Roseland Ballroom in New York on April 30. This will definitely ease the restless hearts of many club music fanatics, as well as Madonna and Justine Timberlake fans. This also helps lessen the pain of waiting for the album to be released on the 28th, doesn’t it?
