Palm has been getting some much needed traction from the Centro, with the handset now available with Sprint, AT&T and Verizon Wireless here in the US it can only be expected to see good sales, especially with its $99 price tag.
If you remember Palm announced back in late-March that they had sold one million Centro’s and they have also recently announced that they are well on there way to hitting the 2 million mark. According to a company representative, they “are confident we will get there in 2008.“
With a company that has seen (and taken) more than its fair share of criticism, its nice to see them having some success. Its been a while since I have used a Palm on a regular basis, but I would still say I am a fan, and will be rooting for them.
