Helio recently had SK Telecom take the controlling stake of ownership, which put Earthlink into a secondary position. Now CEO Sky Dayton who was also the founder of Earthlink has announced he will be stepping down from his current position, he will however remain on as a chairman. Dayton is being replaced by Helio’s current COO Wonhee Sull, who is also a former executive from SK Telecom.
“Helio has succeeded where other post-paid MVNOs have not, because of our differentiated message, products and services,” said Sull. “We look forward to continuing our growth through the stream of innovation that has defined our place in the wireless market.”
Hopefully with the changes Helio will continue to offer the same quality of handsets along with the fair monthly plans and continue to success where other MVNO’s have failed.
