EA pays out to get DICE

Gaming giant Electronic Arts (EA) acquired game developers Digital Illusions CE (DICE) on October 2, 2006. As a result of the merger, the 2.6 million DICE shares will be bought from shareholders for approximately $9.21 (67.60 Swedish Krona) in cash per share. DICE is best known for developing the successful Battlefront games which will now become part of the EA arsenal.
