Creative announces a 32GB Zen

Creative has announced the worlds first 32GB flash memory music player, which puts them ahead of Apple concerning storage and some will argue feature wise as well. The new 32GB Zen offers similar features as the smaller capacity Zen players and is now available in 4GB, 8GB, 16GB and 32GB models.

The Zen features a:

2.5-inch display with 320 x 240 pixel resolution Stores up to 8,000 songs and up to 120 hours of video Additional storage with an SD card slot 30 hours of music playback and 5 hours of video playback Plays MP3, WMA, AAC and Audible 2, 3, 4 formats Plays WMV9, MJPEG, MPEG4-SP, DivX 4/5 and XviD formats

The Creative Zen is a great option for those looking for a portable media player, they have support for Napster, Rhapsody, Audible, Amazon Unbox, WalMart.com and TiVo To Go. The Zen players retail for $129.99, $169.99, and $249.99 for the 4GB, 8GB and 16GB model respectively.

The 32GB Zen will be available in Singapore in mid-December 2007 and retail for S$549.00, which is around $380.00 (US dollars). The new Zen is listed on the U.S. website, however no release date has been listed.
