We all know that Apple is selling DRM-free music from EMI on the iTunes Store. Well Apple sent out a small note to all it’s music partners offering them the same treatment as EMI, asking if they would like to sell their music and videos DRM-free. If the deal bares any similarity to the EMI one, we can expect to pay a little more for that DRM-free goodness.
I would just like to give props to Apple for reaching out and doing this, I know I don’t mind paying a little more to know that my music is DRM-free. Now all iTunes needs to work on is better quality downloads and we’ll be set.
