Alltel now offering a Wi-Fi hotspot service

Alltel has begun offering a Wi-Fi hotspot service in addition to their traditional data plans. The new Wi-Fi hotspot service will cost between $10 and $30 per month and will also be available bundled with EVDO for just $69.98 a month. Alltel is currently working with Boingo Wireless as part of this new service. The plans overall sound nice, especially the bundle of EVDO and Wi-Fi, its just a shame that Alltel does not have nearly the amount of hotspot coverage that rivals AT&T and T-Mobile currently offer.
