Following the footsteps of Verizon and Sprint, Alltel has become the latest to add the BlackBerry 8330 Curve to their lineup. The newly released Curve will retain the now familiar features which include a 2-megapixel camera with video recording, full QWERTY keyboard, voice dialing, Bluetooth 2.0, a 3.5mm headphone jack, microSD card slot for additional storage as well as email and web browsing. The 8330 Curve will also take advantage of Alltel’s EVDO network and GPS based service such as Alltel Navigation.
Alltel’s titanium-colored BlackBerry 8330 Curve is currently available for pre-order and will be officially available online and in-stores on May 1, 2008. The Curve will retail for $229.99, which comes after a mix of online and mail-in-rebates along with a 2-year agreement. Also as a special offer for those who pre-order, Alltel is going to include both a free Bluetooth headset and also a car charger.
