Zune Marketplace now has 39 albums from the ex-Beatle

by Robert Nelson on May 24, 2007 at 11:39 AM

Paul McCartneyEven though Apple was the first to get a member of the Beatles (Paul McCartney) into an online music service after they announced the release of his latest album “Memory Almost Full” last week, they seem to have fallen behind with the follow through on the rest of his collection. Apple so far has only listed 1 previous album “Chaos and Creation in the Backyard”.

As much as I love the iTunes Store I have to admit when they fall behind. Currently the Zune Marketplace has 39 albums listed with 19 available for purchase. To make it a little more on the defeated side, URGE, Rhapsody and Napster have them also. Come on Apple you cannot let them beat you with such an anticipated collection of music.
