Xmas in June - Free iPhones for iEmployees
Remember that Apple-only Stevenote earlier today? Let’s just say Jobs woke up on the right side of the Infinite Loop this morning.
By the end of July, every single Apple employee, provided they’ve worked for at least a year, will have pocketed an 8GB iPhone. For free. I guess Apple’s stock hike is going to cover this one, because the bill will run a cool $12 million.
A $69 Applecare warranty plan will be offered to these lucky employees, but not immediately.
What leaves to be seen is who will shell out for the phone’s contract and data plan.

Palm Pre Information & Updates

While using Safari for the Application interface, any one can use an App designed for the iPhone. But this is not without a few draw backs as well, all of the extra features of the phone cannot be utilized. An example would be a game not being able to use the included vibrate function for force feedback.
