More Treo rumors are starting to show up about the hopefully soon to be announced Treo 800w. A few details have been emerging over on TreoCentral from someone who has a friend that is a “software engineer for pda software company.” The reported Treo 800w is rumored to be launching with Verizon in time for the holidays.

According to the post the Treo 800w has:

• Built-in Wi-Fi.
• Looks a lot like the Centro.
• Has a ringer switch.
• Does not have an external antenna.
• No miniUSB, opting instead for a new proprietary connector.
• The unit was blue, but lighter than the Treo 750.

Sadly, the person with the “hands on” time was not able to get any spy shots for us, leaving us with this (hopefully accurate) mocked up image. Based on the description the Treo 800w seems to be a mix of the older Treo and the Centro. While some of the Treo 800w details seem to make sense, I am doubting the pre-holiday release, it seems more like an early to mid 2008 release, of course a holiday release would make a nice gift for Treo fans.
