Wi-Fi in the air with jetBlue

While cellphones are a debated topic for use in airplanes—remember no one wants to hear 8 hours of Can you hear me now?—we almost all agree that in flight wireless would be fantastic. Generation Y’s favorite low-cost, high luxury airline has recently won a FCC auction to purchase spectrum to offer Wi-Fi in the air. jetBlue bid $7 million for a 1-megahertz wireless license. Now all we need is the FAA and FCC to determine how safe it can possibly be with Wi-Fi on planes. We bet this will be a long long time so please, if your holding your breath, stop, you will turn blue.
