Westinghouse is coming out with two lines of 1080p HDTV’s called the VK and TX series. Westinghouse touts that the HDTV’s in those series are for the people that want the ultimate home theater experience, and the TV’s will range from 40-52-inches. In addition, Westinghouse says that these series will provide “razor sharp” pictures with their full color spectrum and high color picture. They are also supposed to be very user-friendly, as it comes with a menu that allows you to make changes to whatever you prefer. Some additional cool features about these models is that it comes with SpineDesign intelligent cable access, DayBright panel technology for excellent daytime or night-time viewing and Autosource technology.
I will now go in depth about the VK Series. Basically, there are 4 models in this series ranging from 40-47-inches.
VK-40F530S – 40-inch LCD HDTV with 1080p resolution. Available in March 2008 with an estimated retail price of $1,099.
Next, we have the VK-42F130S which is also a 42-inch LCD HDTV with 1080p resolution. It is also available in March 2008 with an estimated retail price of $1,149.
Third, is the VK-42F240S, which is also a 42-inch LCD HDTV with 1080p resolution. Again, it is available in March 2008, also with an estimated retail price of $1,149.
Finally, we have the VK-47F130S which is the 47-inch LCD HDTV with 1080p resolution. Likewise, it is available in March 2008 with an estimated retail price of $1,499.
Moving onto the TX series, which comes with only 3 models ranging from 42-52-inches.
Beginning with the TX-42F450S which is an 42-inch LCD HDTV with 1080p resolution. Available March 2008 with an estimated retail price of $1,199.
Next, we have the TX-47F450S which is an 47-inch LCD HDTV with 1080p resolution. Available March 2008 with an estimated retail price of $1,599.
Finally, we have the TX-52F480S which is an 52-inch LCD HDTV with 1080p resolution. Available March 2008 with an estimated retail price of $2,499.
