Weird Week: Nvidia

Who are they? Nvidia is a GPU maker. You may have one of their graphics cards in your computer right now.
S&P says you’re not too hot.
If you didn’t know, S&P analyzes stocks. They took a look at Nvidia and downgraded them from positive to stable. Now, while that doesn’t sound bad on the surface, a downgrade is never good. [Source]
The market thinks differently.
The downgrade hit Nvidia on Wednesday. A look at the market on Friday shows Nvidia steadily climbing since Wednesday. What happened?
Not standing still.
Nvidia got hit with a lawsuit by Intel. What does Nvidia do? Countersue, of course. Nvidia says Intel breached a contract. The lawsuit centers around licensing rights that may put you to asleep. The original suit is about Nvidia making “chipsets that are compatible with new Intel semiconductors with ‘integrated’ memory controllers.” Intel says they weren’t allowed to that so they sued. You can’t spell Nvidia without Via.
Taking their distaste for Intel even further, Nvidia is looking to get a piece of Via. You remember Via, for a while they were one of the big names in netbook processors until Intel showed up with the Atom. Once again, with this economy, you need all the help you can get. Nvidia is looking to buy up some of Via. Via will be issuing 300 million new shares. How much Nvidia is looking to grab is not known just yet. Nvidia has already looked into making x86 CPUs and owning a piece of Via may help them with that. [Source]

i Like nVidia. Since the Display screen resolution and icons displays is very cool and it has much more display memory installed with it.
In Comparison to another AGP or Display card i prefer this nVidia one….
