Sales have been good so far for the Everex TC2502 gPC, or what is more commonly known as the low-priced gPC. The Everex PC went on sale November 1st for a low $200 and took just about two weeks to sell out in most locations. With strong sales for the desktop model it would make sense to see the follow up sub-$300 laptop that is being worked on.
With the Everex TC2502 gPC getting a lot of attention online, it does make me wonder how many of these computers went to real users and how many went to geeks looking to test out the system. The gPC has received quite a few good reviews including an overall 5-star rating on the Wal-Mart website. While the inventory is being noted as selling-out, there has not been any announcement as to how many have been sold, this simply could have been a case of a low starting inventory.
