Truephone microphone earbuds accessory for ipod touch
Truephone is jumping into iPod touch owners open arms with their new accessory for the touch: a microphone for VOIP.  They showed this accessory at CES.  It should be noted this is only for iPod touch gen 2, first gen users need not apply. With the addition of the accessory, Truephone offers the complete solution for the touch.

The cable with microphone and earbuds allows touch users to place calls on Truephone and Skype and presumably other VOIP or voice recording apps.  They look of decent build quality and reportedly work well.

The first true mobile internet network operator, Truphone allows users of Wi-Fi-enabled mobile phones to make and receive regular telephone calls, and to send and receive SMS (text) messages, using only a Wi-Fi connection and the Internet. It has users in 149 countries.

Expected retail of this product is around $20-$30.  Truephone is a free app in the App Store.
