Verizon’s Buy One Get One Free BlackBerry sale begins February 6
Beginning tomorrow (February 6) Verizon Wireless is going to be running a promotion that will let you score a free BlackBerry—yup, I did say free. Of course, there is a slight catch here, the sale is BOGO or buy one get one, which means that you will have to purchase one BlackBerry at full price to get one (of equal or lesser value) for free. But, all things considered that sounds like a sweet deal.
The promotion is scheduled to begin on February 6 and run until March 31. As for the pricing and details. The BlackBerry Storm will be priced at $199, the BlackBerry Curve 8330 will be $79.99 (after a $70 debit card), the BlackBerry 8830 Global will be $99.99 (after $70 debit card) and the BlackBerrry Pearl 8130 will be $19.99 (after $100 debit card).
Finally, they will also require a two-year agreement (for each BlackBerry).

Palm Pre Information & Updates
Palm just introduced their next-gen smartphone, the Palm Pre, and next-gen operating system, Palm webOS. Gadgetell's got the latest Pre and webOS information and news for you right here.

What is being left out as I found out when I attempted to purchase the Storm is that in order for you to get the first one for $199.99 and second one for “FREE” is that you “have to” have two (2) lines on your account that are elegible for an upgrade or you can add an additional line for $9.99 a month and pay for activation on both lines and contract for 2 years. One of my lines is due for an upgrade but they would only give me one Storm because the other line is not up for upgrade. They told me I could buy another Storm at full price or add a third line to my account to get it free.
