Verizon Wireless rumored release schedule for 2009, early 2010

It would appear as if the upcoming release schedule for Verizon Wireless has been revealed. It is important to point out that at this time, the following list should be considered nothing more than a rumor, however that aside, the list is not all that exciting—except for the BlackBerry Storm 2. What we have is a rough list that contains a mix of 10 phones and smartphones as well as 4 additional PTT models. Of course, when I say there is nothing all that exciting, it really does appear to be a well rounded list and appears like it will do well for Verizon because after all many customers are not simply chasing the latest and greatest smartphone but instead just want a capable phone.
- LG Chocolate Touch VX8575
- BlackBerry Storm 2 9550. (Expected in October-November)
- Nokia Shade 2705
- Nokia Twist 7705
- Palm Treo 800W (Expected February 2010)
- Motorola Entice (or Harmony) W766
- Samsung Rogue U960 (Expected in August)
- Samsung U450. (Will feature Verizon Mobile TV service (MediaFLO)
- Samsung Strut U440
- Samsung Omnia-II i920 (Expected around Christmas)
As well as four new PTT devices:
- Motorola V860
- Samsung Convoy U640
- Casio Rock C731
- Casio Brigade C741
There you have it, see anything you like?

Palm Pre Information & Updates
Palm just introduced their next-gen smartphone, the Palm Pre, and next-gen operating system, Palm webOS. Gadgetell's got the latest Pre and webOS information and news for you right here.

Without a WebOS phone product, it just may be the push I need to leave Verizon.

Verizon has gone on record that they will have a PALM OS product for 2010, so I’m betting this list is a bit incomplete.
