Verizon adds the Samsung FlipShot
Verizon has added the Samsung SCH-U900 to its lineup. The U900, also known as the FlipShot is a swiveling style flip phone. The FlipShot can open and rotate a full 180 degrees and then fold down again, giving you a nice outside display for taking pictures.
The FlipShot features 3G support, a 3-megapixel camera, speakerphone, stereo Bluetooth, speech recognition, a media player a has a microSD slot for additional storage. With the 3G support it will also be able to take advantage of Verizon’s V Cast Music, V Cast streaming video and VZ Navigator services.
The FlipShot is available in red or black and retails $199 with a two-year contract. The red version is available at Best Buy locations and the black version is available through Verizon.
