It seems that the rumored sub-$200 HD DVD player has come true. Based on reports from a user on the AVS Forum, the Toshiba A2 will be on sale nationwide beginning November 3rd with just 18 units per store. It may be a blurry picture, but we can still be fairly certain the model is the Toshiba A2. Some lucky forum members are also stating that they have been able to grab the A2 for $198 a little early. Not really wanting to spend a lot of money and commit to a format, this may have just tempted me.
