TiVo has announced they will begin offering photo sharing via their set top boxes. TiVo users with a broadband connected set top box will be able to browse images on either Picasa or Photobucket.

The images will be able to be viewed at up to full high definition resolution using either a TiVo Series 3 or TiVo HD device. Other set top boxes will still also be able to share and view photos with the resolution depending on the device. The photo sharing will allow you to not only view and share your own photos but also those of friends or family members, users will also be able to view photos and search for other public images by keywords.

Currently the photo sharing will work with just Picasa and Photobucket, in addition TiVo also has a subscription based music service deal with Rhapsody.
