Palm Pre Information & Updates

Yesterday, Palm officially unveiled the Palm pre, and although they gave us plenty of details, there are a few that have been left off. It was mentioned that, once available the pre will be exclusive with Sprint, however a price was not announced, and if you ask me that could be a make or break detail.
So far, nothing official yet, however the rumor floating around CES and the Internet is that we can expect to see it priced at $399. Sounds a bit high, sure it may be a fair price, but it is a little expensive as compared to some of the competition—notably the iPhone 3G.
Additionally, it was also mentioned that an unlocked GSM version would follow later in the year, and the rumored pricing is that it will be between $500 and $550.
