[Update: 07/29/2009, 7:29AM] It is now official, T-Mobile and RIM will release the BlackBerry Curve 8250 on August 5th for $129.99 (as long as you get a two year contract attached).
Although nothing has been officially announced by T-Mobile, all evidence is pointing to an August 5 release for the BlackBerry Curve 8520. The latest information supporting this release date comes in the form of a leaked T-Mobile document (pictured below) that highlights the specs. Additionally, the same document notes the 8520 as being an entry-level addition as well as the replacement for the current Curve 8320.
In terms of specs, the Curve 8520 will feature Wi-Fi, a full QWERTY keyboard, microSD card slot, 3.5mm headphone jack, stereo Bluetooth and a 2-megapixel camera with video capture. Overall, a pretty capable phone as it seems the only real disappointment would be in terms of only having support for EDGE. Expect the Curve 8520 to be available in T-Mobile locations as well as Walmart.
