Sony DPP-FP75 Photo Printer

Sony has released two new compact digital photo printers that are both easy to use and do not require too much technical knowledge from the users. Both new printers allow users to display photos on their HDTV via the HDMI support.

The first of these two printers is the DPP-FP75, a sleek looking printer with a user-friendly interface. The DPP-FP75 prints a page with 300x300 dpi resolutions in 63 seconds. Other features of the DPP-FP75 are the 3.5-inch LCD with tilt adjustable display, memory stick, SD and XD card compatibility, red eye correction button, various printing orientations and support for a maximum image size of up to 48-megapixels.

The second of the two new printer models is the DPP-FP95 photo printer. The DPP-FP95 produces lab-quality photo prints that are comparable enough with print outputs of commercial photo labs. Like the first model, the DPP-FP95 photo printer is also set up to be easy to use and supports standard flash media formats. What differentiates the DPP-FP95 from the DPP-FP75 is its bigger 3.6-inch LCD screen and one-button auto touch-up option that users can use to enhance photos for better output quality. Sony has even added a Skin Smoothing mode to enhance faces of subjects and backgrounds. Both the FP75 and Fp95 also support BIONZ technology which allows wireless transfer of picture from the printer to a PC using a USB dongle to connect the PCs and the Printers.

Price wise, both DPP-FP75 and DPP-FP95 are able to produce high-quality images at the very low cost of $.29 per print. The DPP-FP75 is available for $149.95 while the DPP-FP95 retails for $199.95
