Sharp unveils 3 new Internet AQUOS Desktops

by Indraneel Purohit on Nov 8, 2007 at 06:45 AM

Internet Aquos Red

You probably know Sharp’s AQUOS line as the name for the series of HDTVs.  However, Sharp has launched an Internet Desktop under the same AQUOS name, in three models.

On the spec sheet, the PC-AX30V sports a 1.6GHz Intel Celeron M 520 processor, a 160GB hard drive and 1GB of RAM.  Working way up the ranks, the PC-AX80V has the same specs, though it adds a DTV tuner and an HDMI input.  The best model, the PC-AX120V has a 1.66GHz Intel C2D T5500 processor and a 250GB hard drive.

All three models have a multicard reader, a DL-DVD-RW drive, and the usual audio in/out, HDMI/VGA output, 4 USB ports, a FireWire port, a remote and a keyboard with a trackpad.  No LCD display will be shipped with the computer.

All four will begin shipping sometime in the next few months, but pricing has not been announced yet.
