Sanyo PRO-200, PRO-700 from Sprint offers Push-to-talk technology

Sanyo Pro-200 and Sanyo Pro-700

Built to take advantage of Sprint’s Push-to-talk over cellular technology or PTT, here comes a duo of new phones, the Sanyo Pro-200 and Sanyo Pro-700. Both are going to have a clamshell form factor, and offer standard cellphone features such as text messaging, mobile email and Bluetooth connectivity. And while both phones support Qualcomm’s QChat technology, Group Connect, and remote contact information management via the Sprint Mobile Sync online tool, there are still a few little differences that distinguish these phones from each other.

For example, the Sanyo Pro-200 will be slimmer than its sibling and coated in silver, available for only $49.99 after a $50 mail-in rebate and 2-year service agreement. And the Sanyo Pro-700, on the other hand, should be good for rough riders who need a phone that’s as tough as it gets. This one sells for $69.99 after rebate and a 2-year service agreement.
