Samsung U940; aka the F700 gets its FCC approval

by Robert Nelson on Dec 20, 2007 at 04:23 AM

Samsung U940 F700

The Samsung U940, which seems to be more commonly know as the “US version of the F700” has received FCC approval. While this approval will be a bit late for a holiday gift, it could be very good news for those waiting for their yearly gadget budget to reset.

While there has not been any release date announced, the U940 is expected to be a Verizon branded phone and feature a 2.78-inch touch-screen display with a full slide-out QWERTY keyboard, a 2-megapixel camera, stereo Bluetooth and have 150MB internal memory with a microSD slot for additional storage.
