Apple fans all over the globe are panting uncontrollably after Samsung’s latest announcement. Samsung will be the first to mass produce 16Gb NAND flash memory. The tech specs from Samsung state the memory support 30MB/s transfer rates and 4-bit error correcting code.
Like most of you, I’m not really thinking about the ram tech specs. I’m thinking about 16Gb iPod nanos and iPhones. I’d like to thank Apple for instilling me with this hope. But is it me, or does it seem everyone is going flash memory crazy lately?
